FACIAL PEELS

We offer a range of professional lactobotanical skin peels that focus on luminosity, hydration, tone, texture and/or fine lines and wrinkles. Further, we have specific peels to address problem skin and pigmentation (see Depigmentation Programme).

Because I look for excellence, we use the Aspect Professional range from Australia as it’s very well regarded. In addition, it’s backed by 20 years of history and the ingredients are naturally derived and organic wherever possible.

Lactobotanical peels are suitable for all skin types. For this reason, they’re formulated with calming Willowherb extract as well as various exfoliating acids in 20%, 30%, 40% and 60% strengths. The strength we use depends on the results you require.

NB: Please don’t be confused by the term ‘acid’ used in skincare. These types of ingredients
are usually exfoliators and hydrators.

Treatment is essentially like a mini facial where we apply the peel – similar to a lotion – onto
your skin. Although it’s a gentle, relaxing experience you may feel some tingling as the
active ingredients do their work.

In some cases, we may use a fruit enzyme and probiotic mask.
Depending on the strength we use, the skin must be prepared using appropriate skincare
leading up to your appointment.
