WHAT TO EXPECT
There are several well-known and well-studied anti-wrinkle treatments used to relax muscle movement in areas such as frown lines and crow’s feet.
In our clinic, we use Dysport® because we find it’s the best cosmetic treatment for wrinkles. (So, in our opinion, it’s the best cosmetic treatment for wrinkles in Tauranga!) Furthermore, it’s registered in New Zealand and I have found it delivers natural-looking, long-lasting results.
While anti-wrinkle treatments often earn a reputation for making people look frozen, used correctly this should not occur. The truth is an anti wrinkle treatment should soften lines and limit habitual muscle contraction movements making you look fresher and softer yet still natural.
Treatment works by injecting Dysport® into the area where it will reduce muscle activity of repeated movement such as frowning. You should only feel a light pinch.
RESULTS
Effects take a few days to emerge but are usually seen within two weeks and last for approximately 3-6 months.
But underarm treatments and masseter muscles (jawline) can last up to nine months. In either case, results can be cumulative over time.

A slight drooping of the eyelid can also occur due to the solution naturally migrating.
